Anton Coene is a documentary photographer from Ghent, Belgium. He met Blood Red Shoes in 2008 on their first album tour, marking the beginning of a friendship and creative partnership which has lasted over ten years. Since then, Anton has documented all five album tours and is the only photographer to be granted such close access to the band, travelling with and staying alongside them, entering rooms unnoticed to capture scenes which are rarely seen by the public.
Spanning more than 10 years, this book shows the strange, triumphant, funny, awkward, vulnerable, confusing and beautiful moments from onstage and offstage, as well as studio sessions, nights out, hotels, restaurants, forays into abandoned theme parks and more.
